Stars Katharine McPhee & Jeremy Jordan Of NBC Hit Show “Smash” On Set In New York City

Earlier this week, stars Katharine McPhee and Jeremy Jordan were caught on the set of NBC’s hit show Smash in New York City. If you haven’t heard about Smash yet, then you haven’t been living. Smash is the all new American musical drama series that revolves around a new development of a Broadway musical. The series premiered on February 6, 2012. The show has been nominated for many several awards and has even won Most Exciting New Series from Television Critics Association Awards. The show has already been signed up for the second season as of March 22, 2012.

Leighton Marissa Meester (born April 9, 1986) is an American actress and singer. She was able to give birth to Leighton in a hospital and nurse her for three months in a halfway house, before returning to prison to complete her sentence, after which Leighton’s grandmother cared for her. Meester grew up in Marco Island, Florida, where she participated in productions at a local playhouse. in 2005, Meester began a regular role in the series Surface as Savannah Bennet. The show is based on the book series by Cecily von Ziegesar about the lives of New York’s privileged Upper East Side young adults. She dated Gossip Girl co-star Sebastian Stan. But it’s not an impersonation; it’s a performance with its own comedy and sweetness.” USA Today was also positive towards her performance writing “Meester shows she can do more than play one of Gossip Girl’s privileged Manhattan socialite.” in 2011, she played the role of Rebecca, an obsessive bipolar girl in the thriller The Roommate.

His mother, Dorothy (née Dora Nidelman), was a homemaker and former radio actress, and his father, Christopher Ford (born John William Ford), was an advertising executive and a former actor. A younger brother, Terence, was born in 1945. Ford’s paternal grandparents, John Fitzgerald Ford and Florence Veronica Niehaus, were of Irish Catholic and German descent, respectively.

Aside from acting, his other artistic pursuits include fine arts, photography, poetry, and music. His mother, Grace Gamble (née Atkinson), was American, and his father, Viggo Peter Mortensen, Sr., was Danish; the two met in Norway. Jane, Daylight, A Walk on the Moon, American Yakuza, Charles Robert Carner’s remake Vanishing Point, Philip Ridley’s two films The Reflecting Skin and The Passion of Darkly Noon, A Perfect Murder and Gus Van Sant’s Psycho (1998 remakes of two Alfred Hitchcock’s movies Dial M for Murder and Psycho), 28 Days, and The Prophecy, with Christopher Walken. in 2006, he starred as Captain Diego Alatriste in the Spanish language film Alatriste, based on the series of novels The Adventures of Captain Alatriste, written by the Spanish writer Arturo Pérez-Reverte. He was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor.
